Our Mission and Vision
Empowerment Through Compassion
We envision a just society where every individual is safe and supported, regardless of their background. Our commitment is to advocate for and empower communities to reach their full potential.
About us
We are a compassionate team of professionals committed to serving vulnerable populations with integrity, care, and excellence. With years of combined experience in counseling, legal support, social work, and caregiving, our mission is rooted in advocacy, rehabilitation, and sustainable community empowerment.Founded in 2018 by our CEO, Angelique Moses, Rehoboth Safe Haven was born from a place of deep personal pain and purpose. A survivor of gender based violence and having lost childhood friends to domestic abuse, Angelique envisioned a safe space where healing, hope, and dignity are restored. At Rehoboth, we believe in a just society where every individual regardless of their background is safe, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. We provide personalized, reliable services including:
Mental health counseling and trauma recovery
Legal aid and victim advocacy
Safe shelter and transitional housing
Addiction recovery and vocational training
Elderly care and rehabilitation programs.
Thank you for visiting. We look forward to walking alongside you in building stronger, safer, and more resilient communities.

Empowering Communities Together
We proudly partner with organizations that share our mission of empowerment and community care. With Autism Support Tanzania, we raise autism awareness and mental health support. Our work with Tanzanite Sanctuary Foundation focuses on environmental and vocational empowerment. Shilingi Yangu promotes financial literacy, while Opportunity Career Organization provides professional career guidance. With Moyo wa Mama, we support maternal health and GBV survivors. Together, we build a stronger, united community.
Join the Movement
Every life deserves safety, dignity, and a second chance.
Whether you're here to seek help, volunteer, donate, or partner with us—you belong at Rehoboth Safe Haven.
We don’t get to choose who hurts us, when, or how. but we do get to choose how long we let the pain stay.
Angelique
Our elders shaped what we know and laid the foundation we stand on. Honoring and nurturing them is the least we can do as we redefine traditions for those who come after us.

I had reached a point where I thought my life no longer mattered. I was struggling with addiction, pain, and deep hopelessness. I was suicidal and felt completely alone.until Rehoboth Safe Haven stepped in.They gave me more than just a place to stay.they gave me a reason to live again. Through compassionate counseling, a safe and peaceful shelter, and vocational training, I began to rebuild my life from the inside out.The addiction recovery program helped me face my pain, heal, and grow stronger every day. Today, I have a skill, a purpose, and most importantly.hope.I will forever be grateful to Rehoboth Safe Haven for believing in me when I had stopped believing in myself. You didn’t just save my life.you helped me rise again."
